Privacy and Terms

You have been given access to use our services in connection with dealings with a member or members of Office365.scot. By using our services you agree to only use the information in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Office365.scot and keep in confidence all information that you have access to through your use of the site.

You agree not to make copies of or transmit the information that you have access to except in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Office365.scot without Office365.scot’s approval. You agree that any information you extract from services provided will be adequately secured, having due regard to the sensitivity of the information, to prevent unauthorised access, use and distribution of the information. In particular, you must ensure that any devices that access the information from Office365.scot services or on which information is downloaded are appropriately encrypted and possess appropriate network security safeguards, such as up-to-date virus protection, firewalls and security patches.

If you no longer require access to the Site or your relationship with Office365.scot has ceased you must refrain from accessing the Site. You should inform your usual contact Office365.scot immediately to ensure that your access to the services is revoked.

If you have been provided Office365 services, you are not authorised to create or share accesses to those services, or share your access details with any other person. To request further access permissions please contact the person who provided you with access to the SharePoint site. If you become aware that the security of the Site has been compromised, you are also required contact with Office365.scot.

By accepting, we will also be processing your personal data (Name, email and job title) for the purposes of our legitimate interests to conduct business dealings with yourself. Office365.scot registered office is at Station House, Station Road, Edderton, Sutherland, Scotland IV191LB (“we”, “us” or “our”) is the ‘data controller’ for the personal data we collect. The Data Controller will be Office365.scot and your data will only be held for as long as you require access to our services. Our services are hosted by Microsoft. All personal data will be protected through Microsoft 365 security, and you can read more about this here. Your data will be held in a European data centre. You have various rights under the Data Protection 2018 (Right of Access, Objection, Erasure, Correction). More information about these rights and complaint procedures in association with these can be found on the ICO’s website.
